A new milestone for Meghan Markle
The social media update came after it was reported that Meghan's appearance on MasterChef Australia broke viewership records, drawing a staggering 1.6 million Total TV viewers.
On Sunday, Meghan appeared on the hit show as a guest judge, with participants tasked to create something "fit for a duchess" with everyday ingredients.
According to Network 10, the cooking show smashed records for the largest overnight Sunday audience since July 2023 and achieved the highest-ever overnight streaming audience, drawing 118,000 viewers.
Meghan's episode delivered a 16% boost in its national Total TV audience when compared to the corresponding episode from the previous year.
What is Total TV?
Total TV is a unique measurement tool employed in Australia to track viewership across multiple platforms, combining conventional linear broadcast television with digital broadcast video-on-demand (BVOD) consumption.
The episode was filmed in April during Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Australia trip.
Meghan Markle's busy summer
Following their successful tour to Australia, Meghan also made a secret trip to Portugal and the United Kingdom, alongside Prince Harry and her two children.
Meghan and her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet reunited with King Charles during their visit for the first time in four years.
After the emotional reunion, it has been reported that the monarch has invited Prince Harry again to the UK in September.
The Duke of Sussex has also been offered to stay at Buckingham Palace during his upcoming trip, which he reportedly accepted in advance to avoid any mishap in the future.
