Ramesh Taurani has addressed the growing speculation over Aamir Khan’s possible casting in Race 4, breaking his silence on whether the Bollywood star will join the franchise.
Race 4 has sparked casting rumors, with the 3 Idiots star the latest name linked to the action franchise after reports that Tiger Shroff and Sidharth Malhotra were also considered.
Amid the growing speculation, Tips Films revealed that Race 4 is still being cast and no actor has been officially finalized.
Although Khan was not named, the statement came amid reports linking the superstar to the franchise, with the makers urging outlets not to share unverified casting claims.
“We would like to clarify that the cast of Race 4 has not yet been finalized. We sincerely request the media and social media pages to refrain from speculation and from engaging with or circulating any unverified or false news regarding the cast. Once the cast is finalized, we will make an official announcement from our end. Until then, we kindly request everyone to wait for an official confirmation before reporting or sharing any information,” the statement read.
The clarification puts the casting rumors on hold, with the makers confirming that no lead actor has been finalized for the upcoming film.
The makers emphasized that an official announcement will be made directly by their team once any lead actors are signed.
The lead casting for Race 4 remains a major topic among franchise fans, following Saif Ali Khan’s run in the first two films and Salman Khan’s turn in Race 3.
As casting for Race 4 continues, fans must wait for an official confirmation on who will headline the franchise.
The Race franchise began with Saif Ali Khan-led hits Race (2008) and Race 2 (2013) before Salman Khan took over in the poorly received Race 3 (2018).
Race 4 plans to return to the suspense-driven roots of the first two films.
