Khloé Kardashian got emotional as her youngest child, 4-year-old son Tatum, reached a major milestone by starting pre-K, while her 8-year-old daughter True began third grade.
The Good American co-founder took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 2, to share a glimpse of her family’s back-to-school celebration, honoring son Tatum’s first-ever day of school and daughter True’s first day of third grade.
The family posed in front of pastel-colored balloons and a large chalkboard featuring the words “First Day of School” written in white chalk.
In shared photos, it can be seen the chalkboard was decorated with school-inspired doodles, featuring a globe, backpack and alarm clock.
The balloon arch featured “3rd Grade” for True and “Pre K” for Tatum, with pencil, apple and crayon balloons.
Tatum wore a white shirt, black tie and shorts, while True opted for a navy sweater over a white shirt.
Kardashian felt emotional as dropped the glimpses along with the caption, “canNOT believe Tatum started school today! And my True is in THIRD GRADE! Both of my babies are officially in school and I truly don’t know how we got here.”
She added, “I’m so grateful for every milestone, but man… it is such a trip how quickly it all goes by. In a blink, they’re suddenly a little bigger, a little more independent, and becoming more and more of who they are meant to be. God is incredible for blessing me with such special angels. How do I make it all slow down just a little?”
Kardashian noted, “I love my babies beyond words and I am so incredibly proud of the souls that they are and all that they are becoming, I love you so much my cuties! I can’t wait to see what this school year brings.”
