Andrew Garfield has yet to reach out to Tom Holland about the massive success of his back-to-back films, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey.
On Wednesday, September 2, at the premiere of his historical drama The Uprising at the DGA in West Hollywood, Andrew revealed the reason behind the delay.
"I don't want to be disingenuous,” said The Social Network actor, as he revealed that he has not seen either of the films.
He added, "A movie making money and people going to see it is an incredible thing, but I will reach out to him once I've seen [Spider-Man], which I’m very excited to see."
"And his other film, 'The Odyssey'. I haven't managed to see either yet. I will send him a message when I see the work he has done," Andrew said.
Andrew Garfield played the web-slinger in two Spider-Man movies and reprised his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), alongside Tom and fellow former Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire.
However, the actor revealed that he is not surprised about the massive box office success of Brand New Day, which is predicted to become the first movie to make $1 billion in North America alone.
"Everyone has ownership over him, he's everybody's, and he's decent and he's good and he's ordinary, and he's extraordinary like all of us," Andrew said. "It's impossible not to see yourself in that character."

When asked about returning as the Spider-Man, Andrew once again insisted he won't be appearing in Avengers: Doomsday, set to be released on December 18.
"I'm not," he said when I asked if he's in the upcoming MCU movie.
In Paul Greengrass's The Uprising, Andrew plays a fictional character who becomes a leader during a rebellion of thousands of commoners against King Richard II in 1831.
The director shared that Andrew insisted on doing most of his own stunts for the film's many fight scenes, with the Tick, Tick... Boom! actor noting, "I'm not a young guy anymore. It was a lot of ice packs on the knees."
Notably, The Uprising hit theatres on September 11.
