Apple unveiled the highly anticipated iPhone 18 Pro series at Wednesday’s “Surprise and Shine” event, having the longest battery life in an iPhone, and most advanced cameras.
The new flagship models feature enhanced and enlarged displays: the iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max offers a larger 6.9-inch display.
Both models come in a sleek titanium body and are available in four vibrant colours: Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy, and the rear aluminum and Ceramic Shield glass area are now more color matched.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max specs
The iPhone 18 series introduces the new Camera Control button across all models. Additionally, Apple has touted the iPhone 18 Pro Max as having “the best battery life ever” for an iPhone.
A20 Pro chip
The iPhone 18 Pro series is efficiently incorporated with the flagship A20 Pro chip, along with some cutting-edge capabilities that promise to deliver “amazing performance” for all the Apple Intelligence features.
A20 Pro chip uses the new 2-nanometer manufacturing process, consisting of a 6-core CPU and 4 efficiency cores that ensures to offer 20% improvement.
Camera
The iPhone 18 Pros feature a 48MP fusion camera.
Apple is introducint maximum creative ways a variable aperture can be used effectively with Pro Controls, such as being able to use variable aperture to create motion blur or also freeze photos.
They also offer Pro camera controls, upgraded Photographic Styles, improved video features, and enhanced stabilisation for greater creative control.
Battery performance
With the flagship releases, Apple has changed its battery game, offering up to 24 hours per charge with the iPhone 18 Pro and 30 hours with the Pro Max. Apple also says you get 50% battery life in 15 minutes.

iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max price and availability
The long-awaited iPhone 18 Pro has landed at $1199 with 256GB of storage variant, whereas the iPhone 18 Pro Max costs $1299 with 256GB of storage.
Both of these flagships models will be available on pre-order from September 18, 2026, with pre-orders beginning September 12.”
