Buckingham Palace has shared big updates about senior working Royals amid growing family drama with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Taking to their official Instagram handle, the British Royal Family posted about Prince Edward and the Duchess of Gloucester’s latest engagements, as the senior members continue to carry on their official duties.
In the first post shared on Wednesday, September 9, King Charles’ office reported that the Duke of Edinburgh visited Geneva this week, where he took part in a key event.
“From digital transformation and the future of work, to the power of sport, education and international collaboration, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s visit to Geneva this week highlighted why Human Skills matter more than ever,” read the caption.
It continued, “Across engagements with the President of the Swiss Confederation, @ituofficial, @uefa , @mancity , @westham , @worldeconomicforum , @ilo.org , @genevaenglishschool , schools, senior decision-makers and supporters of the Award, the visit explored how young people can be supported to build confidence, resilience, judgement, teamwork and a sense of purpose in a rapidly changing world.”
In another post, the Royal Family highlighted the Duchess of Gloucester’s new engagement, sharing that she visited The Garrison Chapel to see the CHANEL, le19m and The King’s Foundation Métiers d’Art Fellowships Exhibition.
They shared, “The exhibition celebrates the work of recent graduates from our three Métiers d’Art Fellowships, bringing together the Embroidery, Millinery and Fashion Production Atelier graduate collections.”
Palace noted that the Duchess has been a great supporter of the Fellowships, and had worn handcrafted pieces created by the graduates to events including Royal Ascot.

Buckingham Palace’s latest updates come amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s escalating issues with King Charles.
Just days after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after six years since their royal exit, the British monarch issued a bombshell letter, clarifying the Sussexes’ royal status.
In the letter, Charles cleared that Harry and Meghan will remain as private individuals in the United Kingdom despite their return and will not be working as members of the Royal Family.
It has also been reported that King Charles has not spoken to Prince Harry since his UK return with family, sparking speculation about intensifying rift.
