Taylor Swift skipped the 2026 Emmys to cheer on husband Travis Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium, where she watched the Chiefs star take on the Denver Broncos alongside Hollywood icon Tom Cruise.
The Lover singer attended Travis Kelce’s first game of the season on September 14, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end returned for another NFL season.
The Monday Night Football opener took place in Kansas City against the Denver Broncos, with Swift watching from the stands alongside none other than Tom Cruise.
In viral photos, Swift was seen laughing beside the Mission: Impossible star, with the pair chatting and reacting to the action from their suite.
The Opalite singer looked in high spirits beside Crusie, smiling as they watched the game.
Another photo showed both cheering, with Scott Swift applauding nearby and Donna Kelce enjoying the evening in a red Chiefs jersey.

However, she also made an appearance on the Emmys in a pretaped Law & Order: Special Victims Unit sketch that cleverly played on Swift dropping hints about attending the ceremony.
“The Emmys are tonight, and the mayor’s office is breathing down my neck demanding an answer to the big question: Will Taylor Swift be at the Emmys?” host Mariska Hargitay said in the sketch, in character as Olivia Benson.
Hargitay added, “Now, in order to crack a Swifty case, you’ve got to think like a Swifty, because the Swifties think that everything is a clue to what she’ll do next.”
Swift joined the guessing game, offering wild clues about whether she would make an appearance.

To note, Swift and Kelce’s romance began after she performed at Arrowhead Stadium, where Kelce unsuccessfully tried to give her a friendship bracelet.
He later invited her on social media to watch him play, and Swift accepted, attending a 2023 game against the Bears.
Their relationship grew from there, eventually leading to their star-studded July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden.
