Meghan Markle might have started over in the UK, six years leaving it alongside Prince Harry, but, her mother, Doria Ragland is believed to have some concerns.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who moved to the US in 2020 after stepping down from their Royal duties and leaving England, have made their surprise UK return last month.
Although, Royal circles are seeing this development as a breakthrough in Harry and Meghan's reconciliation efforts with Duke's family, Doria is "terrified" about her daughter's fate.
An insider told Rob Shuter, “Doria told Meghan to think very carefully before moving back.”
“She watched what Britain did to her daughter the first time. She saw the pressure, the criticism and the toll it took. She’s terrified history will repeat itself,” they added.
A source close to Meghan's mother is claiming that “Doria loves Meghan enough to tell her what she doesn’t want to hear.”
“Meghan believes she’s stronger now and can make Britain work on her own terms. Doria desperately wants her to be right” they added.
Reflecting on Doria's reaction over Harry and Meghan's kids bond with her, the insider noted, “Those grandchildren are Doria’s world.”
“A few weeks ago they were close enough to hug. Now there’s an ocean between them. That’s devastating” they added.
