Frankie Muniz is sharing about his traumatic last six weeks in a heartbreaking post.
The 40-year-old actor, who parted ways from his wife Paige Price in July, took to Instagram on Friday, September 18, to post an emotional update, opening up about his devastating past weeks.
“The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from. Everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn’t wish this season on anyone,” he began.
The Malcolm in the Middle star continued, “The unexpected gift in the middle of it is that I’ve had nowhere to hide. I’ve had time to sit with myself, do real self-reflection, and finally see the areas of my life that need work if I want to become a better version of me. Not the polished version I show the world...the actual one.”
He went on to pen emotionally, “I read that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the thing that wakes you up. It forces the changes you needed to make all along so you can live the best life possible. That idea has been sitting with me. In five years I believe I’ll look back at this exact low point and feel grateful for it, because the high I’ll be standing on then only exists because I went through this.”
Muniz concluded his post stating that this was not the end of his story, but the beginning of a difficult period in which he would focus on doing the necessary work.
The actor explained that he wanted to see this phase as a foundation for his future rather than the end of his journey, and encouraged fans going through challenging time to remember that they were not broken, but going through a process of rebuilding themselves.

Paige Price and Frankie Muniz first met back in 2016 and started dating shortly afterwards. In November 2018, the lovebirds got engaged and eloped a year later.
They tied the knot a few months later in February 2020, and welcomed a son, Mauz, the next year.
After spending a decade together, the couple shocked fans in July 2026 by announcing their split, sharing that they had been separated for a period of time.
