Brad Pitt is reprising the vibes of his iconic character, Cliff Booth, in his upcoming film, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.
The infamous 2019 release movie, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and the F1 star, has been renewed for a sequel by none other than David Fincher.
On Tuesday, September 22nd, the new trailer has been released, focusing on Brad Pitt returning as Cliff Booth in 1977 Los Angeles.
Eight years after Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Cliff has left stunt work behind to work as a Hollywood studio fixer, while also taking on odd jobs like bartending and projection.
However, this time Leonardo was noticeably absent from the new instalment.
The footage highlights a gritty 1977 setting where the movie industry looks very different from the 1969 era.

As the new trailer gained momentum on social media, several fans began flooding the comments section as they expressed their sheer disappointment over the new sequel.
It was criticised for showing the dark era, stating, "Why is it so fucking dark? It's supposed to be a fun story and not Zodiac or Mindhunter. Even Gone Girl's Cinematography looked more lively than this. Why does ADVENTURES of Cliff Booth have cinematography of Obsession?"
"Please, Fincher, hire a gaffer to crank up the light level and hire a DOP that’s not colour blind," another urged.
While a third said, "Look ik it's #DavidFincher, but they have GOT TO increase the brightness here. Like, this is too far. I literally cannot see anything. #BradPitt #CliffBooth #Netflix."
This is not the first time fans have noticed dark releases; however, Anne Hathaway's new part in Devil Wears Prada 2 also faced similar backlash.
So far, neither Brad Pitt nor the team behind The Further Mis-Adventure of Cliff Booth has spoken about the film.
The forthcoming movie is slated to be released in theatres on November 25th, 2026, followed by its streaming release on Netflix on December 23rd, 2026.
