In a solo outing, Kate Middleton visited The Forward Trust to mark this year's Addiction Awareness Week.
On Thursday, September 24, the Princess of Wales was in Southend, Essex, for the Addiction Awareness Week, taking place from September 19 to September 25.
During her meaningful trip, Kate visited the charity as a patron to see a new gardening initiative, which aims to create lasting benefits for participants while helping to build stronger connections between people and the environment.

Kate, who was marking a solo public appearance, hailed the "fantastic environment", while adding, "I should have my husband here; he knows a lot [about gardening], he's really passionate."
Asked by Liam King, who leads conservation at the park, if she partakes in gardening, Kate added, "A little bit."
Launched earlier this spring, Forward Growing runs weekly gardening sessions and creates new opportunities for people to connect with nature, build confidence, and develop practical skills outdoors.
Princess Kate's link to the Forward Trust
The Princess has been Patron of The Forward Trust since 2021. She has supported the charity in raising awareness of the impact of addiction, speaking to the importance of support and breaking the associated stigma.
For this year, the Addiction Awareness Week aims to start 17,000 conversations about addiction to mark the number of lives lost to drug- or alcohol-related causes in the UK each year.

Kate's heartfelt outing came after Kensington Palace addressed speculations surrounding Prince William's plans for the 30th death anniversary of Princess Diana next year.
Amid rumours that the Prince of Wales might be involved in a documentary about Diana, a Palace spokesman told the Mail, "We wouldn't comment on how the Prince of Wales will mark the anniversary."
