Kate Middleton’s new stunt with daughter Princess Charlotte surely impressed Royal watchers – but it did not sit well with her estranged sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.
Earlier this week, The Princess of Wales took a ride with Charlotte on London Underground’s Elizabeth Line, as per a video filmed by an eagle-eyed passenger.
The video of Kate and Charlotte commuting via public transport earned Royal fans’ praise, however, the timings of this “tube stunt” from Catherine was dubbed “calculated” to prove Harry and Meghan’s stance on tax-payers funded security wrong.
Insiders close to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who are fighting to reinstate their security in the UK even before moving back, are claiming that “Meghan believes Catherine knew exactly what she was doing.”
“Harry and Meghan say Britain is too dangerous for their children, then Catherine casually takes Charlotte on the Tube. Meghan sees that as a calculated slap in the face,” a source told Rob Shuter.
They went on to explain that “The message Meghan heard was crystal clear: If Catherine can take her daughter on public transport, why can’t you?”
“She thinks Catherine was trying to make Harry and herself look ridiculous without saying a single word,” added the source.
