Prince William and Prince Harry's rift has reportedly become the biggest tension for King Charles III.

As the Duke of Sussex ignited new debate after his first official olive branch to the Prince of Wales, His Majesty has gathered key members of the Royal Family to resolve the matter.

Over the weekend, a bombshell resurfaced claiming that the 78-year-old British monarch has approached his sister, Princess Anne, and the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, to discuss the latest development.

Despite the King having made Harry's position clear, the estranged member of the royal family publicly expressed his desire to mend old fences with his only brother and his father.

Whom King Charles III is depending on to resolve Prince Harry and Prince William's feud?

Now, despite the Duke's constant efforts to win the hearts of his distant family, the cancer-stricken monarch has approached two of his trusted aides to ease the tensions between the two brothers.

"Charles wants William and Harry to demonstrate co-operation publicly some time very soon, even if repairing their private relationship proves considerably more difficult," an insider revealed.

According to the tipster close to the royal family, the monarch's heart melted after the Duke's public appeal over mending the rift.

The helpless father has pulled Anne, 76, and Sophie, 61, in hope that they could approach William to encourage him towards reconciliation.

Since Harry left the 2020 wedding alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, the Princess Royal views the bitter feud between Prince William and Prince Harry as "appalling," "immaturity," and a major threat to the stability of the royal family.

She has actively pushed William to put the Crown first, warning him that carrying hard feelings or letting the feud escalate could make his future reign just as difficult as his father’s, as she wanted to assist her brother.

The Duchess of Edinburgh has acted as an informal bridge between generations and a supportive figure behind the scenes during the height of the fallout.
