Taylor Swift finds ‘Tortured Poets Department’ success ‘overwhelming’
Taylor Swift timed out from vacation for thanking fans

Taylor Swift is shaken by the response that her freshly released album, The Tortured Poets Department, has received within three weeks.

Hopping on her social media, she expressed, “My mind is blown. I’m completely floored by the love you’ve shown this album. 2.6 million, ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS??”

Just two days back, it was reported by Showbiz that her record has sold over 2.6 million copies already, and so has bagged the third place of album sales in an opening week since 1990.

Moving on, Taylor Swift wrote, “Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed.”

“I was already so fired up to get back to the tour but you doing THIS?? May 9th can’t come soon enough,” she added, referencing the scheduled continuation of her currently paused Eras Tour as the singer is on a vacation with boyfriend Travis Kelce right now.

With this post, she attached a few photos taken during the making of TTPD.

While four of these were solo shots of Taylor Swift, four highlighted the two artists featured on her album, which are Post Malone and Florence and the Machine.
