King Charles III attended his last royal engagement with great zeal before kicking off a long hiatus.

The monarch, who has been actively engaged in the royal engagements despite his cancer diagnosis was spotted attending Sunday service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Charles appeared in good spirits attending the service with two close friends instead of his wife Queen Camilla.

He looked dapper in grey suit trousers and a matching tailored blazer, which he paired with brown suede boots.

The 75-year-old gave a brief glance to onlookers before greeting Reverend Canon Paul Williams with a wide smile as he made his way towards the church.

It is pertinent to note this is the first time Charles was in attendance at the Sunday morning service since February.

As per the reports, this sighting marks King Charles’ last before he embarks on a long summer break.

King Charles chose Sandringham as his place of rest to recover during his cancer treatment.

In addition to this, the father-of-two and Queen will most likely to host their family on the Balmoral estate in Scotland later this summer.
