Kate Middleton has a key role in strengthening Prince William and King Charles’ relationship!
Robert Jobson’s forthcoming biography, Catherine, The Princess of Wales’ excerpt, obtained by the Daily Mail, highlights Kate Middleton’s “calming influence” on the royal family, particularly her husband, Prince William.
Playing the role of an “instinctive peacemaker,” the Princess of Wales has “smoothed the way for William and his father to have a better relationship than they had in the past,” mentioned Jobson in the book.
As per a source, Prince William has become “much closer” to His Majesty in the past years and is devoted to his father.
However, the insider also revealed that the prince "feels the fact his father put work first had a detrimental impact on him when he was growing up and didn't help their father-son relationship."
But, with Kate’s help, Prince William is now understanding his father’s point of view, told the source to Jobson.
“[She] is somebody who always tries to see both sides of any dispute.”
The Princess of Wales is “emotionally mature” and has a “stabilizing influence,” which is why the King also views her as his “beloved daughter-in-law,” disclosed the insider.
The writer also reports that King Charles is consistently thrilled to meet the princess, and both of them are frequently observed sharing laughter and lighthearted moments together.
“I think the [King] understands Catherine is a good influence on the entire family. He loves and truly appreciates everything she does,” he further added.
