King Charles’ windfarm ban to be overturned by Prince William

King Charles opposed by Prince William once again

King Charles reportedly thinks that windfarms are a blotch on the ground, but now, Prince William is planning to overturn his effective ban on them!

Your Majesty once fearfully said that the United Kingdom might one day be “knee deep in these damn things,” just like Denmark.

Regardless of what his papa thinks, the Prince of Wales has recently ordered a crucial review of renewable energy on his Duchy of Cornwall estate, which has land stretching across 20 counties.

According to The Guardian, this inquiry is set to bring in a change in the face of Prince William’s hereditary property that he received after King Charles ascended the throne.

He wants to introduce “large-scale solar panel farms, geothermal energy extracted from beneath the Earth’s surface, and biomass from decaying organic matter alongside onshore wind turbines.”

If things go as per his giant plans, renewable energy produced in Britain may increase, and the Duchy of Cornwall might as well reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2032.

Later this year, Prince William will be overlooking at a study on large-scale renewable energy to finalize his plans on the said matter.

Whether King Charles shall stand tall in front of his elder son’s approach is however not known yet.
