On Sunday, Pakistani singer Asim Azhar took to Twitter to thank his fans for making his latest song titled Yaad a success. While thanking, he asked the mainstream artists to invest in their work and create original content.
Azhar recently released his track Yaad for which he collaborated with Talhah Yunus and Talha Anjum. The single is now trending at No.1 on YouTube.
The 24-year-old singer tweeted, “It makes me happy to see the fans giving value to the craft we make..i hope its an eye opener for A LOT of the artists (mainstream too) to start making original content & music videos. Sirf brands ka wait karte reh jaoge tou hogaya kaam. Thora jaib mai haath daalo aur saath do (invest from your own pocket and contribute).”
He wrote in another tweet, “I can literally count on one hand ke sirf kitne (established) artists hain that are investing in their craft & the music industry constantly. Baaki sab...? Bas koi brand ajaye, koi drama karlain, koi controversy ajaye. Aise nahi hota dost. Kuch dogay tou kuch milega (waiting for a brand or a drama to approach them. This is not how it works friend. Put in work to see the results).”
