Ariana Grande has issued a major statement after her breakup from Ethan Slater made headlines earlier this month.

The 33-year-old American singer and actress – who is currently embarked on her fifth concert tour, The Eternal Sunshine Tour – was scheduled to perform at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, on July 12, 2026.

She was also due to deliver two shows at TD Garden, Boston, on July 22 and 24.

However, the We Can’t Be Friends singer announced via her official Instagram Stories that she will not be able to perform on the scheduled dates, and postponed the shows to new dates.

On her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 29, Ariana Grande re-shared a post that read, “Ariana Grande's Brooklyn performance scheduled for Sunday, July 12 at Barclays Center has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 14 to ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended. The remaining Brooklyn shows will take place as originally scheduled.”

“We apologize for any inconvenience. All tickets will be honored for the new date, and ticket holders will be contacted directly with additional information,” it added.

In the following Story, The Boy is Mine singer re-posted another post that stated, “Two of Ariana Grande's Boston performances have been rescheduled to ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended. The show originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 22 will now take place on Thursday, July 23. The show originally scheduled for Friday, July 24 will now take place on Sunday, July 26.”

It continued, “The show scheduled for Saturday, July 25 will take place as originally planned. We apologize for any inconvenience. All tickets will be honored for the new dates, and ticket holders will be contacted directly with additional information.”

Ariana Grande releases statement

Alongside the updates, Ariana Grande released an emotional statement, apologizing fans for the inconvenience and thanking them for understanding.

“we are so sorry for these unfortunate scheduling changes. this was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention,” she stated.

The Wicked actress continued, “the utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run. thank you so much for your understanding and i cannot wait to see you.”

When will Ariana Grande perform in Brooklyn and Boston now?

Ariana Grande is set to perform Brooklyn’s July 12 show on July 14, and Boston’s July 22 and 24 concerts on July 23 and 26 respectively.

Ariana Grande’s latest updates come after it was reported earlier this month that she quietly parted ways with her boyfriend Ethan Slater a few months back.

The songstress began dating her Wicked costar Slater in July 2023 after meeting him on the set and made their romance Instagram official more than a year later in November 2024.

On Monday, June 8, 2026, TMZ reported that the former flames quietly ended their relationships a few months ago, with an insider telling that they took the decision after carefully thinking about it and are still friends.
