Cardi B has dominated the 2026 BET Awards nomination list for an annual American award ceremony.

The BET Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, and we have all of the details on the big show.

This year’s star-studded event will honour the best creatives in the world of television, film, and music.

According to Rolling Stone, the Am I the Drama hitmaker led six nominations and delivered a highly anticipated live performance.

Cardi B career achievements:

Her chart-topping sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, secured major nods, including Album of the Year, Best Female Hip Hop Artist, and Best Collaboration.

The Bronx native brought her signature energy to the stage in Los Angeles, treating fans to one of the most explosive performances of the night.

The 2026 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The ceremony takes place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and offers multiple options for viewing.

In addition to her nominations and performance slot, she was a standout contender for the newly introduced Fashion Vanguard Award, sharing the spotlight with heavyweights like Beyoncé and Zendaya.
