The Only Murders in the Building starlet’s marriage came once again under the tight spot after her life partner overlooked her acting skills and prioritised Margot Robbie.
In a recent joint appearance on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, Benny, 38, was asked about his celebrity crushes and favourite actors. He was quick to answer, which did not please his wife, Selena, 33, who was sat beside him.
According to the infamous record producer, Margot Robbie – who worked in Barbie and most recently in Wuthering Heights- is the “beautiful celebrity in the entire industry.”

However, Selena fired back with a sharp response, saying, “Where the f**k did that come from?” leaving the hosts and Benny with an awkward silence.
The controversial appearance left fans speculating whether the two have been struggling in their marriage, as the actress – who just returned to America after her brief solo London trip - visibly looked uncomfortable with her partner’s choice.
As the clip went viral on social media, fans flocked the comment section expressing their frustration over the apparent humiliation by Benny.

This is not the first time Selena and Benny’s marriage grabbed headlines however earlier this year an alleged screenshot of the actress-turned-singer resurfaced on social media which left the internet in a frenzy.
In the viral screenshot, Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend stated, “Just clearing things up .. I’m single. No drama, no hidden story, just focusing on myself and my peace for now.”
Later, it was claimed that the screenshot claiming she was “single” is a fake and parody image, but it was not directly clarified by the couple, who tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in September last year.
Benny Blanco, who proposed to Selena Gomez for marriage in 2024, also sparked controversy in late February of this year when he debuted his new podcast Friends Keep Secrets.
Fans heavily commented on his seemingly dirty feet in the episode, which prompted Selena to post a highly romantic message to defend him.
Despite her husband’s controversial remarks, Selena Gomez continued to defend her marriage as she recently addressed recent speculation about her marriage in an Instagram Live, where she clarified that despite facing challenges, she is still married to Benny Blanco.
