Anthropic added that “The problems our users reported were due to infrastructure bugs alone.”

Weird outputs and confuse memory

The first bug misrouted user requests to incorrect server configurations. A second configuration mistake caused output corruption, occasionally spitting out random foreign characters like Thai words in their English answers.


A third compiler issue triggered unpredictable behavior, making troubleshooting tricky because “The same prompt might work perfectly on one request and fail on the next.”

Rapid fixes and system rollbacks

Engineers worked to isolate the problems, rolling back buggy software updates and reconfiguring server routing logic. The team confirmed all primary issues were resolved across platforms, allowing models to return to expected performance levels.
