Bennifer are going stronger than ever!
Ben Affleck has yet again taken a center stage in Jennifer Lopez’s life two years after their divorce.
The On the Floor songstress – who recently appeared in a Netflix chic-flick, Office Romance, is said to be happier than ever as she has successfully strengthened her ties with ex Ben – whom she remained married to for two years.
According to the sources close to the former couple, J.Lo is enjoying this rare new dynamics with Ben, where she can rely on her ex-husband for advices, emotional support and counselling.
“Ben isn’t neurotic at all about Jennifer continuing to rely on his counsel, and even his emotional support, when it’s needed,” a source told Closer.
Per the insider, The Accountant actor, who first got engaged with Jen in 2002 and parted ways in 2004, only to reunite again after 17 years is “still advising her, and he wants her to win.”
"In fact, it fuels his ego – in a healthy way – to know that she still takes him incredibly seriously as an advisor, even though they couldn’t make it work as a married couple," they added.
Reflecting on the Aint Your Mamma singer's feelings on this new bond with Ben, the insider claimed, "Jen is over the moon that things between her and Ben have settled into such a good place now that the divorce is behind them."
They went on to explain, "She’s always been envious of his close bond with Jen Garner, so at least she’s able to have her own version of that with him now, too."
"She definitely takes a lot of pride in the fact that he’s someone she can go to for advice and guidance," added the source.
The tipster also claimed that "in some ways, Jen trusts Ben more than many people on her team because he’s not listening to her out of any kind of contractual obligation."
Despite parting ways with Jennifer Lopez since 2024, Ben Affleck is reportedly not dating anyone, he continues to co-parent his kids with ex-wife, Jenner Garner.
