Prince William and Kate Middleton are gearing up for their eldest son, Prince George's, next chapter of his life.
As the firstborn of the Prince and Princess of Wales turned 13 on July 22nd, the second in line to the British throne is officially set to level up his academic journey next month.
For those unaware, the eldest grandson of King Charles III and Queen Camilla is preparing to attend Eton College this September.
However, ahead of his senior-level academics, William and Kate officially requested that the college's organisation respect the privacy of the royal member.
The new photos of the college showed that new "No photography" signs have been put up on fences outside to ensure the media and members of the public do not invade the privacy of pupils.
Although they accompany the couple on special royal occasions and a handful of engagements, privacy is very important to them and they want their children to have a relatively "normal" upbringing.
This move by the future monarch and queen echoed his late mother, Princess Diana's, parenting style, who once struck a deal with the photographers when William, 44, himself attended Eton College.
At the time, the then-Princess of Wales asked the press that they would be afforded arranged shoots with William if they left him alone the rest of the time.
What protective measures Prince William take for George?
However, the strategy has also been repeated for Prince George.
It is pertinent to note that Prince William also arranged a private room for his son to protect his privacy.
The school’s website also ensured the "no shared dormitories" policy publicly, as they stated, "From the very beginning, each boy has his own study-bedroom: there are no shared rooms."
"Boys thus have their own private space and are required to organise themselves and to develop self-discipline in meeting tasks and deadlines," the officials confirmed.
This update came a few days before Prince William set to commemorate the 29th death anniversary of his deceased mother, Princess Diana, on August 31st, 2026.
