Drake has made an unexpected appearance at Ella Langley’s show in Arkansas.

Over the weekend, the Habibti crooner supported his fellow singer as he enthusiastically sang along to Choosin' Texas.

The unexpected appearance quickly spread across social media, with the Canadian rapper's presence at the North Little Rock show drawing attention far beyond the sold-out arena.

In the viral footage, Drake is seen fully enjoying the performance, leaving the internet buzzing.

As the video of the rap icon emerged on social media, several fans criticised him as the multiverse of the singers gave the moment a political interpretation.

The backlash centred on the cultural associations some social media users attach to contemporary country music.

Why fans criticized Drake over Ella Langley's concert?

Others simply wondered whether Drake and Ella Langley are set to announce a big project together.

One user said, "Everyone in America is slowly turning MAGA, and we're witnessing it with our own eyes. This is horrible."

"He can still align himself with MAGA beliefs; also I’m pretty sure he has US citizenship," a second noted.

Another bashed, "Drake is a paedophile with a gambling addiction. How did you ever think he was anything other than MAGA?"

This gesture by Drake reflects his presence at a major country music show in a conservative southern state with an endorsement of MAGA (Make America Great Again) beliefs.

It is pertinent to note that the hip hop mogul responded to Ella Langley's recent Instagram post by praising her songwriting, with the self-proclaimed 6 God gushing, Goated pen.

Drake releases new albums

Drake has released three musical albums, including ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR, earlier this year.

Following the release, Drake became the first artist ever to concurrently occupy the numbers 1, 2, and 3 spots on the Billboard 200 chart.
