Serayah has confirmed her breakup with now ex-fiancé Joey Bada$$ in an emotional statement.
Taking to her Instagram on Monday, August 24th, the Ruth & Boaz actress shared a brief message, revealing the facts leading her towards the split.
After spending more than three years together, Serayah parted ways with Joey, citing allegations of infidelity, as she said, "After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to end my engagement and relationship with the father of my child, Joey."
She continued explaining her pain, writing, "I loved deeply, believed wholeheartedly in the life we were building, and wanted nothing more than to protect our family."
The American also alleged that she has taken the difficult step after witnessing her partner cheating her with another woman during their relationship.
"Unfortunately, I also had to face a painful truth: there had been repeated infidelity throughout our relationship, including during some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of my life," she added.
She went on, "I share this not for sympathy, retaliation, or to publicly tear anyone down. I share it because too many women are taught to question themselves before they question what is happening right in front of them. If your intuition is telling you something is wrong, listen to it."
Serayah explained that she will always protect the privacy of her child by respecting his need for both of his parents, for which she is unable to reveal the intimate details of her relationship publicly.

It is pertinent to note that the romance between the actress and the rapper began when the two first met each other during the birthday party in 2021.
Their romance escalated when Joey Bada$$ featured Serayah McNeil in his music video, Show Me, which premiered in 2023.
After making their romance official, the two welcomed their son on June 19th last year, one month before announcing their engagement in July last year.
So far, Joey Bada$$ has yet to respond to these allegations from his former partner.
