Sharna Burgess has made a surprise announcement about her return to the Dancing With The Stars' new season.
On Monday, August 24, she confirmed her presence in America's biggest reality show during the latest episode of Good Morning America.
"I’m back! Some of you guys guessed it … I’m back on Dancing With the Stars, baby. I’m gonna be competing for that Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. I can’t wait to be back in the ballroom with my dancing family. And mostly, it feels so good to be coming home. I’ll see you all soon," Sharna announced.
The 41-year-old Australian ballroom dancer previously won the mirrorball with Bobby Bones on season 27.
Sharna Burgess returns to DWTS after five years
However, she was last seen on Dancing With The Stars in 2021 with her real-life partner, Brian Austin Green.
Now, she will be joining Witney Carson, who will be with Guillermo Rodriguez in the new season of the dancing program.
As the Good Morning America post gained momentum on social media, several fans expressed their excitement as the reality star is set to break her five-year hiatus from the show.

"Yay so glad she is back now we want @sashafarber1 back, and all is well," another commented.
While a third said, "She is absolutely one of my favourites!"

This update came after she teased earlier this month that she would love to return to Dancing With the Stars.
Speaking about his comeback in the competition, the dancer said, "We actually discussed it last year, and it was by no means a ’Please come back’. It wasn’t a hard offer on the table, but there was definitely a temperature check."
However, Sharna Burgess' partner is yet to be announced.
