Selena Gomez has stepped forward with a major announcement amid the ongoing legal battle surrounding her mental health startup Wondermind.
On August 24, the Calm Down singer announced that the fourth annual Rare Impact Fund benefit will take place October 14 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The annual fundraiser supporting youth mental health organizations will be emceed by actor and comedian Sean Hayes.
“This year’s Rare Impact Fund Benefit continues the Fund’s mission to mobilize $100 million for organizations that increase access to youth mental health services and education around the world,” reads a press release.
It added, “The fundraiser brings together a global community of advocates, partners, and friends of the Fund for an evening of connection, storytelling and impact.”
Gomez shared in a statement, “The Rare Impact Fund means so much to me. One of the things I’ve learned through this work is how much it can mean for a young person to have someone in their corner, especially during the moments when they feel most alone.”
She continued, “This night is about making sure more young people have that kind of support and celebrating the organizations that make it possible every day. I’m so grateful to Sean for being part of it with us this year.”
The previous event generated over $2 million, with more than 20 sponsors and exclusive auction offerings from SmartLess, Paul Rudd and The Ranch Malibu.
At the 2025 benefit, Selena Gomez and husband Benny Blanco enjoyed a loved-up date night one month after their wedding.
The Single Soon songstress wore a maroon minidress, while Blanco opted for a classic black suit.

Notably, the announcement came after Gomez is being sued by five investors who backed Wondermind Global, a mental health business she founded with her mother.
Shareholders allege the pop star failed to build the brand as promised, leaving the company in financial trouble.
The lawsuit seeks about $1.2 million in investments, plus damages and costs.
