Spider-Man: Brand New Day continued its box office dominance in its fourth weekend, taking in $39 million, while Insidious 6 opened strongly with $25 million.
The latest newcomers failed to dethrone Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which remained No. 1 ahead of Insidious: Out of the Further.
Lionsgate’s Mutiny and Black Bear’s Spa Weekend landed much lower on the box office charts, despite their high-profile casts.

The film has become just the fourth to surpass $800 million domestically, placing third on the all-time North American box office chart behind Avengers: Endgame and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Insidious: Out of the Further opened to $25.3 million domestically and $60 million worldwide.
Though behind The Red Door’s $33 million debut, its modest $18 million budget gives the sequel plenty of room to turn a profit.
“The drop from [the previous installment’s] opening in July 2023 is substantial but typical of these sequels,” said David A. Gross, who publishes the box office newsletter FranchiseRe.
In general, he noted, “the horror audience is thoroughly engaged.”
Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey remained in third place, earning $19.5 million in its sixth weekend, a 17% dip from the prior week.
Mutiny opened in sixth place with $7.5 million from 2,703 theaters, a weak start against its $40 million budget.
