On Monday, August 24th, the Deja Vu hitmaker shared a delightful update regarding the release of her new track.
Sharing the lyrics of the song on a pink template, Olivia also scribbled a special message for her fans, as she launched the much-awaited song.
"Surprise!!! Serena Joy out on streaming platforms now. A portion of all net proceeds go to the Daisy Chain Fields Fund. I love this song so much!!!!" the 23-year-old singer and songwriter wrote in the caption.

How the track was discovered?
For those unaware, Serena Joy is an outtake from Olivia Rodrigo’s third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love.
The title was first discovered via a prototype tracklist.
The third musical collection was released on June 12th of this year.
As the new song is available on all streaming platforms, Olivia Rodrigo’s fandom flocked to her comment section with their heartfelt feedback on the song.

This new rendition came a few days before Olivia Rodrigo is set to launch the sold-out Daisy Chain Fields festival, set for August 29th at Great Park in Irvine, California.
Daisy Chain Fields will bring together an all-women lineup of artists, nonprofit organisations, and fans in support of women and girls.
It is also reported that all the revenue collected from Serena Joy's success will be added to the Daisy Chain Fields Fund.
