Chris Hansen laid bare his true feelings about a movie on his life featuring Robert Patinson.
Talking to Page Six, the To Catch A Predator star revealed whether he is planning on filing a lawsuit over the upcoming project.

Hansen shared that studio A24 only told him about Primetime starring Robert Pattinson in May, and when he tried to see it at a screening last week at its New York HQ, he was not allowed after refusing to sign an NDA.
According to a source close to the matter, the NDA was a standard screening procedure, which the studio sent to Hansen a week before the screening and allowed him to making changes to the contract.
Talking about Primetime, which is based on the 2007 Esquire article, "Tonight on Dateline This Man Will Die", Hansen noted that he would think about taking legal actions if he can manage to watch the film.
While Hansen said that A24 have been perfectly pleasant and he has faith the movie will be fair, he is also prepared to be disappointed.
He noted, "When someone makes a movie about you but won't let you see it, you do have to wonder why they won't let you see it."
Hansen told the outlet the A24 informed him that the reason the studio did not reach out to him about the project is because it's a fictionalised portrayed that is only "inspired" by his story. However, he and his lawyers are not yet convinced.
He said that once he has seen how he is portrayed, he will consider his "right to a [legal] remedy".
"At this point it's about courtesy. If you make a movie using someone's name and likeness, you'd think you'd reach out to them about it."
He said that when production did get in touch with him, they had a "dialogue".
Meanwhile, Hansen, who made 20 episodes of the controversial Dateline NBC show between 2004 and 2008, is making the most of the attention.
Hansen shared that he bought ads before every theatre screening of the movie promoting his true crime streaming TruBlu and its "Predator"-like show, Takedown with Chris Hansen.
Notably, Primetime, starring Robert Pattinson, will hit theatres on September 25.
