The infamous television host – who made a historic triumph on the second night of the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards has returned to continue his hosting duties.
After a long vacation, Jimmy will be resuming his appearance as anchor on the late-night show on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.
Taking to Instagram, the organisers of the show stated in the caption, "Our host this week: JIMMY KIMMEL."
According to USA Today, Jimmy will kick off the talk show with the surprise guests on his panel, set for discussing and gossiping sessions.
Who will be Jimmy Kimmel's guests on panel?
Last week, ABC confirmed in an email that the guests – who will appear in the new episode will be Andrew Garfield and Joey King.
However, the second episode of Jimmy Kimmel, which will be released on Wednesday, September 9th, will see Mariska Hargitay and Kaia Gerber.
Notably, in the third episode, the television host will welcome Gal Gadot as his final guest of this week.
When did Jimmy Kimmel take break?
For the unversed, Jimmy Kimmel had signed off from "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on June 18, telling audiences he will be "taking the next two months off – this time voluntarily."
The joke is the opening monologue, referencing his weeklong suspension last fall, following controversial remarks about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

This update came just a day after Jimmy Kimmel received his Emmy accolade for Outstanding Host for a Game Show for his work on ABC's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
This victory at the Creative Arts Emmys marked his second consecutive win in this category.
