Harry Styles has sparked outrage among fans after an eerie nod to the September 11 attacks, just days before the tragedy’s 25th anniversary.
The design on One Direction alum's ticket for Wednesday’s concert has drawn backlash just days before the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
The back of the English singer’s ticket for his Together, Together tour appears to feature a yellow vehicle flying over the Empire State Building, leaving fans concerned the imagery was inappropriate.
Styles is in the midst of a 30-night Madison Square Garden residency that commenced August 26 and wraps up October 31.
On X, reactions varied to the artwork, with one person commenting, “This pic on 9/11 week is diabolical” and another wondering, “who approved this?”
“Putting that on the back the week of 9/11 is f****** insane,” the third commented.
“Uh…no. Sorry. Nothing funny about 9/11,” the user said.
Another mentioned, “Not even 25 years later on some Harry Styles ticket artwork that was prob never meant to be taken as a reference and was poorly timed to be used is funny if people immediately link it to that event.”
Styles has been traveling the world with his tour, including recent stops in London, Mexico City, Amsterdam and São Paulo, with Australia next.
Styles is currently on tour following the release of his album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally earlier this year.
On Wednesday, Styles told fans he would be returning to the road in 2027, thanking them for making his 2026 tour more special than he imagined.
“I love playing music, I love being with all of you and being a part of the love and joy you all create together every night,” he wrote, adding that he feels “the luckiest person in the world” to still be sharing these moments with fans.
He concluded by saying he “can’t wait” to keep dancing with fans and thanked them for their “love and support” over the years.
