Prince William and Kate Middleton are ready to make a rare exception this year to celebrate a very personal milestone.
The Prince and Princess of Wales - who recently marked their elder son, Prince George's new beginings at Eton College, are planning a secret getaway to celebrate 25 years to their first meeting, which grew into a beautiful love story.
Insiders close to the Waleses are claiming that Catherine and William will likely to spend some couple's time together somewhere away from London to reflect on their first meeting at the University of St. Andrews in 2001.
A Royal source exclusively told New Idea magazine, "They’ve been so hands-on over the summer school holidays; they really need some couples’ time."
Highlighting the fact that with George being at Eton and Prince Louis resuming studies after summer break at Lambrook School, the future King and Queen will be taking off for a "much-needed romantic weekend".
"Neither of them can believe it’s been 25 years – they still feel the same excitement about each other as they did back then, but it’s been fun to revisit those awkward moments," added the insider.
Although, it is still unclear where the Prince and Princess will be heading, the source suggested, "They’ll probably sneak away to a quiet cottage somewhere."
