Selena Gomez has posted a series of photos after calling out fans for comparing and criticizing her appearance.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday and Thursday, September 16 and 17, the Only Murders in the Building actress surprised fans by posting two of her new snaps, shortly after gracing PEOPLE’s latest cover story.
In the first update, the actress shared a glowed-up snap of herself as she read her husband Benny Blanco’s new book, F*CK FAILURE, in her car.
“Probably more proud of my hubby for releasing his new book on failing forward… I love you baby,” she penned in a loving shout-out to her record-producer husband.
In another Story, Gomez posted a selfie showing her pointing towards her TV screen that featured Blanco, seemingly on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The selfie featured her in a glowing look as she pouted for the camera.

The Sunset Blvd singer’s new photos came after she spoke out on how people want her to look the same as she did a decade ago.
She also seemingly took a dig at the clone controversy that claimed Gomez had died in 2017 during her kidney transplant procedure and a clone replaced her.
“Getting older has been so much fun. I’m not scared at all. I love getting older. Yeah, things are going to change and things are going to sag, but you’re alive... I think age is just a number in many ways,” the actress said.
She added, “I got to be honest, the 2016 throwbacks and all of it is so much fun, but people get really intense. I always make this joke where I think people want to freeze me in time to that period of my life. I don’t know... maybe it was probably more interesting because I’m now chilling, which is great. But it was such a hectic period in my life... of course I had to rock a smoky eye. I was trying to be cool!”
“I think people always want me to look the way I did, and that’s just not going to happen. Sometimes people don’t like the natural beauty look, but that’s kind of my whole identity now, is really connecting with just natural beauty,” the Wizards of Waverly Place star stated.
Selena Gomez tied the knot with Benny Blanco in September 2025 after dating him for more than two years.
