Jennifer Eckhart is no more.
In a shocking update on Monday, September 21, TMZ reported that the former Fox News producer died at the age of 36 after committing suicide at her Florida home.
A Martin County Sheriff’s Office incident report revealed that Eckhart was discovered unresponsive inside her residence on Saturday morning, September 19.
Speaking to the outlet, the sheriff’s office’s spokesperson Christine Christofek shared, “This death has been ruled a suicide.”

On Instagram, fans expressed their thoughts on Jennifer Eckhart’s passing, with many calling for an investigation over her suspicious suicide.
“That is very suspicious. I hope it gets investigated thoroughly,” wrote one, while another penned, “Yes! I am with you on that part too. It definitely needs to be investigated!! Thoroughly.”
A third tagged Ed Henry – whom Eckhart had accused of sexual assault and rape – and penned, “@edhenrytv look what YOU did!!!”

About Jennifer Eckhart and Ed Henry legal battle
In 2020, Jennifer Eckhart sued former Fox News anchor Ed Henry, accusing him of sexual harassment, assault, and rape. She also alleged that the organization failed to protect her and retaliated against her after she complained.
Responding to the allegations, Henry denied any wrongdoing and claimed that their sexual relationship was consensual.
Five years later, a federal judge in March 2025 dismissed Eckhart’s claims against Fox News and ruled that some of her accusations against Henry could not process to trial based on the evidence.
In June that year, just before the scheduled trial, both parties reached a settlement outside the court, ending the lawsuit.
