Celine Dion won an applause of love and tears while coming in check for the last performance at the 2024 Olympics Paris Opening Ceremony.

According to Daily Mail, she is currently battling an incurable stiff-person syndrome, but still managed to sway fans off their feet by pulling on a shimmering silver gown.

Her Friday eve performance turned even more fabulous as the singer was running a gig right in front of the Eiffel Tower itself!

Dazzling like a star on the stage, she starting piping Hymne à L’amour, which is a timeless melody originally sung by the much-celebrated French vocalist Édith Piaf.

Released back in 1950, its title translates to “Hymn to Love,” possibly the reason why fans were so emotionally mesmerized through Celine Dion’s singing.

In fact, the star herself was seen choking back on tears as she finished crooning on stage to wind the gig up.

Back home, viewers were just as moved as they quickly climbed on social media X to offer words of appreciation.

One said, “Celine Dion got my a** crying. #Opening Ceremony.”

“AT LAST! Queen Celine Dion is back and she sounds fantastic,” another noted.

Someone threw in a reference, writing, “Wow Celine Dion! If you’ve ever seen her documentary, you’ll know…”
