Taylor Swift once brought tears to Ice Spice’s eyes!
Spice recalled an emotional memory linked with her celebrity best friend Taylor Swift, who took the rapper by surprise with a huge offer.
In her cover story interview with Rolling Stone, Spice walked down the memory lane to when her manager told her about Taylor’s proposal for a collab on Karma remix, featured on former’s grammy winning album Midnights.
Ice Spice recalled she was her producer Riot at her New Jersey her manager reached out to her to tell her about Taylor’s lucrative offer.
“He usually texts, but he called, and he’s like, ‘You ready for this one?’ And I’m thinking it’s going to be some bad news or something,” the rapper revealed.
She continued, “He’s like, ‘Taylor Swift has a record for you to get on from her album.’ I’m playing it cool on the phone. I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s cool. Super cool.’ And then I hang up the phone, and I’m hysterically crying. I’m in my walk-in closet, and I’m like, ‘Bro, this is not real life.’”
“Riot definitely filmed it. That’ll probably be in a documentary one day,” she added.
Taylor Swift's album Midnights was released in 2023.
