Hugh Jackman has teased details about the much-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine film, confirming which characters will appear while clarifying that King Charles will not make a cameo.

Amid the hype of who is set to appear in the movie, the X-men star confirmed a few names who won’t be in the Marvel Studios blockbuster.

During his conversation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, July 23, Hugh Jackman made a joke about the studio crowd, saying, "A lot of people here not in it."

He continued, “Jimmy, you’re not in the movie,” adding, “I know you’re shocked, but you got cut. I’m sorry. There was a genuine rumour going around for a long time, and I can guarantee he is not in the movie, and that is King Charles.”

Jackman joked, “I said I wasn’t doing Wolverine again. You can’t believe a word I say.”

To note, the Australian actor is back in the X-Men films from 20th Century Fox, where he played Wolverine.

Wolverine & Deadpool are now a part of Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe and t is set to release on July 26, 2024.
