Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have some witty insults to fire at each other in Deadpool and Wolverine way!
In the latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which aired on Friday night, July 26, the actors who portrayed the iconic Deadpool and Wolverine made an unforgettable appearance.
During a face-off segment, Reynolds and Jackman, who are known for their long-term friendship, engaged in a playful trade of insults through a musical feud, adding an entertaining and humorous twist to the show.
The Wolverine actor set the tone of the theme song, singing, “I’m gruff and rugged,” to which Reynolds shot back, “You’re old and slow.”
Without missing a beat, Jackman countered with, “Deadpool’s mid,” before the Justice League actor boldly challenged him with, “Come at me, bro.” Jackman was quick to call, “I’m the hero,” to which Reynolds replied, “No, you’re not.”
“People love me,” told Jackman. “OK, Boomer,” said Reynolds, referring to the Logan actor’s age. Jackman continued by emphasizing his experience that he has played Wolverine in 10 movies, noting, “I can heal in record time.”
The Bullet Train actor, clearly frustrated, shot back, “My name comes first in the title.”
As the musical came towards the end, Jackman countered, “Wolverine’s better; there’s no debate,” after which Reynolds suggested, “Can’t we agree that we’re both really great?”
“You mean it?” Jackman asked back. Reynolds agreed, and the pair went back and forth until Jackman concluded, “Just kidding.”
Deadpool and Wolverine, which has just entered the cinemas on Friday, July 26, with a budget of $200 million, has already grossed $103 million in two days.
