The Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate broke silence on the deadly incident of stabbing occurred in occurred at the Hope of Hart children's club, located in a former warehouse, Southport UK.

Grieving the lives of loss of two children's life, Kate and William released a joint statement on their Instagram stories on Tuesday.

"As parents, we cannot begin to imagine what the families, friends, and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport today are going through," the Royal couple noted.

"We send our love, thoughts, and prayers to all those involved in this horrid and heinous attack," they added.

Princess Kate and Prince William extended gratitude towards the emergency services noting, "Thank you also to the emergency responders who, despite being met with the most horrific scenes, demonstrated compassion and professionalism when your community needed you most. W & C"
