In a gesture of support and solidarity, Princess Kate and Prince William have offered their congratulations to the British Olympic team, after royal member and renowned athlete Zara Tindall's snub.

Kensington Palace, on behalf of Kate and William, said: "huge congratulations to the Equestrian Eventing Team and Tom Pidcock in the mountain biking on winning Team GB's first gold medals! Here's to more success ahead!”

The royal couple’s message comes amid media attention surrounding Tindall's recent exclusion from a high-profile sports event.

Tindall, an accomplished horsewoman and daughter of Princess Anne, did not appear at the official Olympic reception held at Buckingham Palace to honor the British athletes.

Her absence sparked speculation and concern among fans and observers, leading to huge media coverage.

Zara Tindall, who competed in the horse riding events and won a gold medal in 2012 Olympics is reportedly focusing on her ongoing training and future competitions.
