Jonathan Owens shared a celebratory kiss with Simone Biles to mark a moment of sheer joy and pride, as she etched her name into Olympic history.
To support his wife, who has emerged as the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, the 29-year-old safety for the Chicago Bears recently travelled to Paris.
Jonathan took to his Instagram to express his gratitude and delight for his gold medal-winning spouse.
The football player shared a carousel of pictures of the pair together. He donned the gymnast's most recent gold in both photos; in the second, the two had a tender kiss.
He kicked off the caption, “Witnessing history every time you step on the mat.”
Jonathan added, “Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful i was there to see it.”
Biles expressed her gratitude to her spouse in the comments section. "My whole heart. I love you,” adding, “Means the world you’re here.”
The fact that Owens was present was noteworthy because his club is presently preparing for the 2024–2025 NFL season in training camp.
