James Gunn has finally finished filming on his upcoming film Superman!

The Co-CEO of DC studio expressed his gratitude for the kindness and goodness of his Superman team in a heartfelt social media post.

James turned to his Instagram account on Tuesday to share a group photo of him with the cast and crew of Superman.

As per James, the photo was clicked during the first week of filming in Svalbard Norway, in which everyone could be seen flashing a wide smile.

The picture was accompanied by a sweet note that read, “And that’s a wrap. God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity, and hard work have brought this project to life.”

He went on to share, “I set out to make a movie about a good man in a world that isn’t always so much. And the goodness and kindness and love I’ve encountered on a daily basis on the set has inspired me and thrust me forward when I felt too spent to move on my own.”

James Gunn concluded his post noting, “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It has been an honor. The destination has been Superman, but the journey has been the toil and the laughter and the emotions and ideas and magic we’ve shared together on set - and for that I am forever grateful.”

It is pertinent to note, the release date and other details on Superman are still under wraps.
