Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son, Pax, has been hospitalized following a serious bike accident that resulted in a head injury.

According to law enforcement officials who spoke with TMZ, the 20-year-old celebrity child was riding his electric bike when he smashed it into the back of a car in Los Angeles.

Since he had complained of headaches and had not been wearing a helmet when the incident occurred, the responding police and paramedics decided to take him straight to the hospital.

Pax was taken to a hospital by emergency personnel who feared he might have suffered from brain bleeding.

TMZ was later informed by sources that Pax was in stable condition following his hospitalisation; however, the extent of his injuries is yet unknown.

Together, Jolie and Pitt have six children: their biological children, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne, as well as adopted children Pax (from Vietnam), Maddox (from Cambodia), and Zahara (from Ethiopia).

Pax’s injury came amid the children having an estranged relationship with their dad after The Maleficent star and the Troy star's longstanding divorce battle over assets and custody.
