Aamir Khan has spilled some major tea on the relationship Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon shared on the set of 1994's Andaz Apna Apna.

On Friday, March 7, 2025 the PK actor attended the India Today Conclave session, where he was introduced by Anjana Om Kashyap as "cinematic genius."
While discussing the creation of his classic film Andaz Apna Apna, Khan noted, "We had a lovely time."
Sharing what made the movie difficult to film he jokingly shared, "Also, have to say it was also a tough time because I was the only actor who used to come on time."
"Karisma aati the tou Raveena chali jati thi. Bahut mushkil se woh film bani thi (When Karisma used to come to set, Raveena could leave the set, and vice versa. It was a challenge to shoot it)," the 3 Idiots actor confessed.
Khan admitted that both the actresses were not on the best terms during Andaz Apna Apna, to the point that he was worried that they wouldn't be able to wrap up the filming.
He went on to say, "But i really believed in that film. It was so wacky and mad. we were at our peak, Salman and I, at the time."
The film, which went unnoticed when it first got release is now considered one of the major hits in "home entertainment."
Aamir described Andaz Apna Apna as, "Every generation has seen it, every generation wants to see it."

Aamir Khan is set to celebrate his 60th birthday on March 14, 2024, which will be commemorated with a special film festival honouring the star's legacy.
