Dhurandhar: The Revenge starring Ranveer Singh has received an unexpected remark by Aamir Khan.
The 61-year-old actor’s Aamir Khan Productions took to Instagram Story and praised the movie, congratulating the team on the success.
The Sitaare Zameen Par star wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to the entire team of Dhurandhar: The Revenge! Your Passion, vision and hard work have truly resonated with audiences."
Known for his perfectionist approach, Aamir Khan’s appreciation post comes amid Dhurandhar 2’s unstoppable success.
Produced on a budget of approximately ₹140–150 crore, the spy action thriller film movie has already grossed over ₹1,500 crore worldwide.
The movie is on track to become one of the highest-grossing Indian film franchises, despite a ban in several Gulf countries due to its content.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the sequel to Dhurandhar, which was released in December 2025, the film also features an ensemble cast of Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi, and Gaurav Gera.
The movie’s storyline draws loose inspiration from multiple real-life geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and developments linked to Pakistan's Operation Lyari.
