T-Mobile has finally restored service for thousands of users who faced major disruptions in accessing the service on July 27.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the company has officially released a statement, which read, “We have fully restored service for all customers and sincerely apologize for the difficulties to those who experienced network impacts today.”

“At @TMobile, we know that customers rely on us to stay connected to what matters most, and we appreciate their understanding as we prioritized resolution,” the statement added.

On July 27, Downdetector, a web outage tracking website, showed a significant peak in the number of complaints lodged by users engaged with the app, with maximum reports reaching over 61,000 users.

As of 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, reports of issues with T-Mobile on Downdetector were below 300.

T-Mobile's response during outage

Hours after the outage started, T-Mobile immediately responded with a statement, saying, teams are actively working on the reports of technical challenges impacting some customers."

The company added: "Any service impacts are in the process of being resolved and are our highest priority. We know how critical it is to stay connected, and every available resource is focused on resolving this as quickly as possible."
