Prince William and Princess Kate delighted royal fans by sharing a series of heartwarming photos from a "special" summer, offering a rare glimpse into cherished family moments as they enjoyed the season together.
The royal couple treated followers to a July 28 Instagram post titled "summer rewind," featuring snapshots and clips celebrating recent milestones and special family memories.
“The Summer Rewind, Thank you to everyone who has made the last few months so special! the royal couple wrote alongside a sunshine emoji.
Among the images shared by the Wales family was a photo of William and Kate attending Royal Ascot, with the Princess of Wales wearing a canary yellow dress and matching hat for the prestigious racing event.
William complimented Kate's colorful outfit choice with a yellow flower on his lapel.
A separate photo shows the family of five relaxing together in nature, with William, Kate and their children stretched out on the grass.
The photograph, originally shared to commemorate the Prince and Princess of Wales' 15th wedding anniversary, was shot by Matt Porteous and includes their English Cocker Spaniels, Otto and Orla, lying close to the family.
Another image pays tribute to Kate's Three Peaks Challenge, during which she climbed Great Britain's three highest peaks in 24 hours in June to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
The collection also featured a brief clip of Prince William alongside Sir David Attenborough as the acclaimed naturalist celebrated turning 100.
At a special concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in May, Prince William praised Sir David Attenborough, saying it was a rare privilege to celebrate someone who had transformed the way people see planet Earth.
The post came a day after William urged people to protect the environment as deadly wildfires swept across Europe and the UK, triggering evacuations and widespread destruction.
