Prince Harry is seemingly adamant to avoid any chance to upset his father, King Charles after Meghan Markle and kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s reunion with him.
The Duke of Sussex – who just had his most chaotic UK trip earlier this month, is already gearing for yet another visit in September.
As reported by The Sun, Harry will likely to touch down in his home country just weeks later, for a slew of personal engagements linked with WellChild Awards 2026.
Now sources close to Harry have confirmed that the duke will be accepting the accommodation offer this time in advance to avoid any controversy like the last time – when his last minute confirmation could not be entertained by King Charles’ office.
Praising King’s gesture for Harry, Royal author Robert Jobson said that Buckingham’s Palace’s accommodation offer is a sign that the rift between the Royal Family and the Sussexes are gradually healing.
“Obviously there does appear to be a sense that it’s a gradual process and things are improving,” he added.
Meanwhile, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, noted, “Harry realises it is a very generous offer by his father and needs to respect that this time and be gracious about it.”
“This is a chance perhaps for Harry to show his father he knows how to behave” he added.
It is yet to be confirmed if Meghan Markle and kids will also be joining Prince Harry for his upcoming UK visit.
To note, in early September the cancer-stricken monarch is likely to be on his summer break.
